notices Ivan watching, and waves to him.

waves back and comes closer

holds the paddle closer to her chest as he approaches. "Chào, Ivan!"

smiles "Chào..." awful accent "How are you doing?"

smiles a little at his accent. "I'm doing well, and you?"

nods "I can't compain..." looks around "What are you doing?"

gestured to the fields. "Going out to help, since there aren't may tourists right now."

"Ah...do you get many tourists usually...?"

shrugs. "There's a decent amount. They tend to visit cities like Ho Chi Minh City more than the countryside, though."

giggles "I see...can I help?"

nods. "If you'd like to. We're done planting, and just tending to the plants now."

huums "I wouldn't know how to do that though..."

motions for him to follow her. "I hope you don't mind getting wet."

follows her shaking his head

stops when she gets to the field, and holds up her ao dai's skirt as she walks through the flooded fields. "What made you visit me?"

looks at her and holds up his coat "It's been long since I last saw you..."

looks back to him and adjusts her hat. "It has been a long time, hasn't it?"

looks at her and smiles "I do hope you've been doing well during this time"

watches him, and smiles a bit in return. "I have. And you?"

places all his scarf around his neck in attempt to not get it dirty "I can't complain"

leans over to inspect a plant. "That's good."

blinks and mimics her movements

straightens up, deeming it alright before continuing. "It's been too long since we've seen one another."

nods, still doing all she does "Did you miss me?"

looks out over the plants. "...Of course I did. You were my friend though everything."

smiles at her, ducking so the plants hide him

glances back to him. "Did you miss me?"

touches the plants "Of course..." looks at her "you've grown."

watching him now. "Have I grown well?"

nods "Of course." because he watched over her, but he doesn't tell her that.

goes back to looking over the plants, a bit flustered.

does all he does, hoping he's doing it right

eventually stops. "Has anything happened with you, recently?"

looks up at her "like...?"

shrugs, starting to head back. "Have you done anything interesting lately?"

tilts head "...Making friends, I guess"

sighs. "Friends, you say?"

smiles "Da..."

passes him on her way out of the field. "You won't forget me, will you?

stands up and follows her "How could I?"

glances back to him. "I just want to make sure you won't."

shakes head "I fought for you" and won "I wouldn't, trust me."

smiles at that. "Thank you for that."

smiles back "Don't mention it..."

stands there for a moment, before blushing and turning away to leave the fields.

lets down her skirt when she's out of the water and waits for him.
