the idea of a desktop app but feels it would just end up as another clone of Twitter or Pownce

that with the right browser, it basically is another 'app.' Easy to leave in the background, the topic changes as your timeline changes...

is there such a thing as the right browser for plurk?

twitter is great if you have a desktop client or use it while mobile. I work from home so it's easy enough to have the client on all day.

definatalie: he has an ipod touch, but he hates that 'manual' refreshing mode... but reckon plurk's kinda hard to run on ipods...

ewww if you have to keep coming back to refresh it's too hard!

I like that part, but I have a really difficult time catching up with people and usually mark all as read
