walks to the door and opens it.

smiles. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVIIIII~!!!!"

blinks and sighs. "Yeah, you said that already."

isn't letting Lovi stop him. "You ready to go?"

"Yeah, yeah.." Looks off and grabs his jacket.

smiles. "You'll have fun. I promise."

"I don't promise anything." Walks out, shutting the door and locking it behind him.

leads him to his car and opens the front seat door for him.

puffs out his cheeks, blushing. "I can get in myself.." Sits down in the seat, buckling himself in.

closes the door and walks around to the driver's side, getting in.

"So.. How long do I have to stay out?"

smiles, starting the car. "For a while...."

"How long is a while?" Looks at him.

backs out of the driveway. "Until I say when....it *is* your birthday after all...."

"But what if I don't *want* to stay out until you say so?"

smirks. "Too bad."

glares at him. "Why did I agree to this?" Crosses his arms and looks out the window.

merely smiles before pulling up to a beach. "We're here!"

blinks. "What the hell are we doing here?!"

grabs his hand. "Come on~"

blushes and pulls his hand away, getting out of the car.

grabs it and leads him across the beach to where a dance floor has been set up.

blinks. "R - really?" Looks around, hoping no one else is there. "On a beach?"

nods. "Trini set this up...I know you don't like to dance with me in front of other people, so she suggested a beach."

looks up at him, then away. "S - si.."

tilts his head. "Do you not like it?"

blushes and mumbles. "I do." Looks away

smiles and heads over to the CD player and turns a song on. "Dance with me, Lovino?"

bites his lip, his face growing brighter every second. "Y - yeah, sure.."

grabs his hand and starts to dance with him.

follows his lead, his face still red.

smiles, spinning him.

Spins, keeping his eye contact.

cocks his head. "Having fun?"

"I guess." Blushes more, looking away.

grabs his chin and brings his face back to him. "Stop looking away from me."

's heart skips a beat. "U - uh.." Blushes more.

leans in closer to him. "Hm?"

swallows hard, lost in the gaze. "I uh.."

shakes his head, clearing his head. "N - nothing." Leans his head away.

leans in more so that their faces are barely a centimeter apart. "You sure?"

gulps looking him in the eyes. "Y - yes, dammit.." Leans his head back.

's heart skips a beat. Stays put for a moment before pulling away.

raises his eyebrows. "You didn't like it?"

's eyes fill with angry tears. "N - no, dammit!"

a little hurt. "D-Did I do something wrong?"

stomps his foot, shaking his head. "No!"

confused. "Then why are you crying?"

"Because I hate you!" Lays his forehead against his chest.

puts his arms around him. "Hate and love are both stong emotions, Lovi..."

shakes his head. "I don't need you to tell me that!"

kisses the top of his head. "They can be confused. I love you, Lovino....I always have..."

"I.. I'm not confused!" Hesitantly wraps his arms around Spain.

pulls him closer. "Which is it then?"

shakes his head and stays still, enjoying the time in his arms.

holds him tight. "I love you, Lovino."

"Don't say that so casually, jackass.."

smiles. "But I mean it."

"I don't care!" Gently hits his back with his fist.

holds him at an arms distance and kisses his forehead. "Then what do you want me to say?"

looks up at him, trying to hold back the tears. "N - nothing! Just don't say anything!"

gently wipes away his tears.

swats at his hand and looks away.

tilts his head. "Lovi...?"

"What?"

"Are you all right?"

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, dammit! I'm fine."

backs up a little. "Okay then. If you say so..."

looks at him. "Where're you going?""

"I just figured that you wanted a little room to breathe is all."

scoffs and looks away. "I'm fine.."

shrugs. "Okay then." He takes Lovi's hand and starts dancing with him again.

blinks and stumbles into a step. "Y - you still want to dance?!"

nods. "We haven't gone dancing for a while."

"B - but... After what you just said!" Following his lead. "You still want to dance!"

nods. "Why not?"

"Because I didn't say anything back!"

smiles. "What do you have to say back then?"

"I.. I don't have anything to say back! So shouldn't you be upset or something?!"

shakes his head. "I still love you anyway."

"But a normal person would be upset right?! Pissed off!" Looks away. "But all you want to do is dance."

still hopes that Lovi loves him and isn't giving up.

stumbles over his own feet. "D - dammit.."

tilts his head. "You getting tired?"

"No! You're distracting me!" Glares up at him, his face still red.

confused. "How am I distracting you?"

"You just are! You shouldn't have said that!"

smiles. "But if you don't care...why is it distracting you?"

"I - it just does!"
