Calliope tentatively pats him on the brainium with her paw!

He does have a widdle bitty brainium! Hairy licks Calliope in the ear.

Calliope wallops him on the ear and starts a game of race through the house and torment the mommies!

Doh! Hairy appears stunned, but then shakes it off and chases the booger, barking rapidly.

this goes on for a long time until Calliope finds a perch to peer imperiously down from. occasionally she swishes her tail in his face

Hairy looks up tentatively, panting. Blinking his small, dark eyes, he collapses to the floor in an exhausted heap amidst a ray of sunshine.

that is a great ending! Calliope sprawls in her bit of sun and purrrrrrs. <3
