i tried it for one sitting at a friend's house. if i had played longer, i might have been hooked.

It takes getting into. If you had been there for when the game launched it was a lot more fun starting out cause everyone was the same level

and PvP was everywhere

Now people play it to consume time instead of have fun for the most part.

The expansion should make it fun though

it was fun, overall. it's just that it's expensive to play here. if i could, i'd find a way t play FFXI too.

FFXI was a lot of fun.. just really hard to get use to if you've played other MMORPG's before it!

why? how different is the system?

It's not as easy to navigate, at least for me. (I'm use to the American movement keys etc) and FFXI was mostly click to move.

But I admit, I didn't spend that much time playing it. There is a place around here that hires FFXI players though!!
