Nice! How is it?

I haven't tested it out a whole lot, since I don't have anything/anyone to take a photo of right now, but I'm definitely happy with it.

I chose the SB-600 because I read somewhere online that it only misses out a few of the features that the SB-800 do, and is a lot cheaper.

If I wanted the 800, I'd have to save for another 2 or 3 weeks, and I'm impatient. Plus, the lady at the camera store I went to said that

apparently taking the SB-800 off the market and only keeping the 600 and 900?

What exactly does a speedlight do?

It.. flashes. Basically, the bit at the top rotates, so you can bounce the flash off surfaces to achieve the lighting you want, I suppose?

Awesome! My boyfriend has the SB-400 I think, it's really nice I really need to save for one

I can tell it's definitely going to come in handy. Built-in flashes are the devil.
