blogging, I'm doing a chainmaille feature
creativehaven sounds like a fun topic! I have a few things I'd like to put together. Finally got a dose of inspirado last night
I'm preparing to teach a class tonight and then some work on a new design.
trying to catch up on Plurk...and buying supplies
i admit, this plurk timeline is waaaaaay more active than my old personal one, but I like it!
chatty
Not too much today - am getting to work now
better late than never
understandable. I get to get back to class work in 30 minutes. I still gotta get my papers done for tomorrow, too
two for class, and then one for the bosses. I need to sit down and structure how I am going to utilize each social network and what...
the next steps are that I am going to take with the blog, or writing in general
yup. I wouldn't want it any other way, though
no, it's not a hard concept at all, but each network has a different nature to it.
i communicate differently on here than i do with Twitter, or through the blog.
because of how the content is structured and delivered. I like Plurk because plurks and responses are self contained.
Twitter... it's more of a chaotic system, especially with 2000+ followers. I agree with you on the @ and comments, though
that's one thing that's a bit of a challenge with Plurk
very true. Right now I am using it as a way of delivering resources to designers, or showing people with the tools to create on their own.
a good amount of our customers design their own labels, so I like to educate them. I would like to talk more about product and industry more
video tutorials on what? Something like how to do something in Illustrator, for example? If so, that's what I already do.
I just gotta tie it in with labels a bit better, which isn't too much of a challenge
it haven't updated it in awhile, but that's because i have been brainstorming and would like to work with the others on driving some...
No, I agree with you. All of my video related stuff is done using Adobe Captivate, which is what the software is intended for
I use it for my students, too.
I write a lot about Adobe products right now, but I realize that 1) they are expensive 2) not everyone has access to such software 3) ...
There are open source versions.
I understand what you are saying. Let me pull up some of the early stuff I created when I first started out. I'd like to go back to doing...
more video type tutorials.
it is for many people. i have a list of alternatives, and many of them free, but it takes time to learn them and structure content for them.
the nice thing is that once you learn it in one Adobe program... you can easily apply it to another.
that's true in most Adobe apps and scenarios
i believe it. Now you know how i feel about the wanting to learn other programs. I use Adobe everyday at school and for projects.
getting even 20 minutes to play around with something else isn't possible a lot of times, not for me anyway, and not right now
i blame it on my 3 majors and my teaching position
thanks. Two of them are computing... the other Religious Studies.
it's not too bad. It's all about balance!
lmfao. Sure is
