Hey. Sorry I got distracted. During my X-mas vacation I read Paul Auster's "Invisible". I really liked it. I think it's a good book.
Then... what kind of book do you have in mind?
something GOOD, and not depressing.
Hmm... That Auster's book is a bit bitter. Not good for hospital, I daresay.
Well... something humourous: "The Jane Austen bookclub" by Karen Joy Fowler. It's well-written, relaxing and funny. Full of literature
being a book about a book-club. But in a good way.
i just looked it up. i've never HEARD of paul auster. incredibly, i think i've READ that jane austin thing!!
i think my sister lent it to me last year.
Oh, I'm sorry
Well... let me think...
It's hard to find happy books!
i know. so far i've got the uncommon reader. but it's TOO SHORT.
What about "The crying of Lot 49" by Thomas Pynchon. Absolutely crazy. I loved it to bits. But it's a bit short, as well, I guess...
I hope you'll like it. I couldn't stop laughing when I got to certain points
I think I missed somethin. Are you going to have an operation?
.... i'm going to have TWINS!! but, actually, i had an operation last year and it might not have worked. it's for BOTH.
it sounds like a good book, though, just the kind of thing.
My best vibes to you and congratulations!!!!!
Twins. Oh wow!
i KNOW!! it's like...... UNBELIEVABLE.
Yea. And Awesome. I think that kids need siblings and this way you got two at once
yes... two at once. TWO AT ONCE!! just before we found out, i found an egg with a double yolk. HONESTLY!! it's so STRANGE.
no, not a vision. a SIGN. and i said something like: oh, if that's a sign of twins i'm going to just lie down and DIE...
... and it was twins. so i lay down and CRIED for three hours. now i've recovered.
Don't ever said that part of the story to the twins when they're grown up
they might just don't get it
mm... definately they WONT get it UNTILL they find out they're going to have TWINS. and then they too will WEEP.
I have to be away form the keyboard for a moment. I'll be back in a while. If you're not there anymore
then my very best hugs
and vibes to you and yours!
If you'll still be here, oh well, we'll talk again
Take care.
thank you very much!! take care
JazzBo, so many congrats about your expected twins and your engagement!
always wanted to be and/or have identical twins.
hope you can enjoy them!
oh, mine are not identical. they have two placentas. when they are born i will try and show you. not the placentas, though. BLECH.
it's a bit SCARY, actually.
I bet, bound to be overwhelming!
GAH!! don't say that. say, oh, it will be a BREEZE.
you'll do great!
