I read 238 books (including novellas & graphic novels or comic book arcs not yet collected in one volume)

I wrote 42,506 words of prose fiction

I wrote 36,883 words of RPG sourcebooks

this includes the LARP I wrote in January which clocked in at a little over 32,000 words, the most I have ever written in one month

and I think mid-November to Mid-December is my second-best month ever, with almost 30k words of smutty fanfiction

I don't think I can write 30k every month, but I'm very confident if I make the time I can write at least 10k every month

If I can do that in 2025 it'll be a return to what my wordcounts were in 2011 & 2012, pre-anxiety attacks.

and this is the level I had gotten back up to in 2017-2019... right before the pandemic hit my reset button again

which at the moment is more encouraging than frustrating. I know not only that I have the capacity, but that I am resilient enough to rebuild it when life throws me.

likewise I would prefer to get back up to my frankly ridiculous previous record of over 365 books/year

but I know that record was absurd and frankly I'm pretty happy just to be over 180
