oh my gosh, ORANGE BESTSELLER BANNER!!

i really appreciate the efforts of this anthology's authors. i guess there are just more of us to make a difference, but i've seen the marketing and the effort to get the book included in book clubs and readathons and whatnot.

my missed opportunity is not having a horror book to direct any new readers toward. oh well, i'll fix that after nugget comes and things kind of stabilize enough to be creative again!

oooh, i should throw something up for these challenges. they're nonfic but it'll be nice to get the creative juices flowing anyway

it's only jan 2 but the other UK author in the fairytale antho is already busy making plans for the antho's one year anniversary and what she's doing with her story when the rights revert 😂 do the UK authors just have more drive vs the US authors or what? bc the horror antho folks have been busy promoting BH too...

just an observation as i'd expected the US folks to hustle more since brits are generally more laidback lmao

i'd disregarded completing my PH author registration bc 12/31 rolled around and i wasn't able to complete my application... but i got an email yesterday that they're extending until 1/15! so i'm gonna work on it tonight. it's a sign even if i don't have anything planned this year. or do i

okay submitted my registration! for some stats: since publishing hotel fen in 2021, i've had 24 published pieces as of the end of 2024. that'll be 26 soon as i have 2 already slated for publication this year
