Now if that reason is “I prefer third person shooters” or “I prefer the Marvel IP” then like, yeah. That’s subjective to taste. Obviously those are going to be huge decision makers.

But I don’t think it’s a very clear cut “oh this is so much better than that” in a comparison debate.

And the reason can’t be “blizzard sucks” because Rivals is made by NetEase so, like. Next question, please,

The biggest thing in MR’s favor is the keeping of the battle pass after you buy it which is good, great, and excellent but also it had better be for how horribly time gated progression is in it. Which isn’t so bad in Season 0’s mini-pass but is going to suck ASS come a full one.

Just, I dunno. I keep seeing “oh this is so much better” by some vague metric, when I step back and look at engaging with both and it’s like.
