so my sister in law made a fruitcake, which is not something that has traditionally been part of my family's holiday fare, and I gotta level with you: this thing has the approximate flavor and texture of a cliff bar.

save it for when you're gonna appreciate a cliff bar that doesn't taste like preservatives
yeah which we also appreciate dessert pemmican less in the modern era because we have access to nice things over winter much more easily
