we programmed it and then also it has a feature where it can go into away mode without us remembering to set it. it's a 3rd gen learning one that costco had on sale so that's nice <: very sleek, super easy to use and it took me 15 minutes to set it up.

nice thing about this one is that you do not need a c wire to connect so it's more home owner friendly for set up.

oooh neat!

I was very pleased with it and it's wifi capability.
