You are loved by God, and that is why you matter.

Long lay the world in sin and error pining 'til He appeared and the soul felt its worth.

True worth is not going to be found in anything you can put under a tree. It is found in a God who was willing to be put on a tree to rescue you.

And He died on that tree, but He was not a victim of darkness; He was a victor over darkness....

2 Timothy 1:10, "[He] broke the power of death and showed us the way to everlasting life through the Good News."

John 1:5, "The light shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it."

Jesus shines a light on the future of darkness.

Revelation 21:23, And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.
