later K6BD is overall better than early K6BD but there's something delightful about the manic pace of the early chapters

where the plot and setting are moving by so fast that Allison can't get a word in edgewise

Like now I know what's going on and I'm hype about it

But that first book

is just

It's throwing SO many concepts at you

And John's description of it just really sells you on how manic it feels

just "AAAAAHHHHHH"

Yeah, I think it's good for getting you in Allison's headspace of "EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING SO MUCH"

Honestly, does it really require an explanation? She's a gun witch. It's pretty straightforward.
