and my mom has the pickle picker. I also have one of these cause I hate trying to grab pickles out of the jar and it keeps them nice and fresh still.

I like the idea of a kettle that I can control with my phone because sometimes I want to start water boiling for my tea but don't want to have to get up.

I'm mostly frugal, but I'm really into tea. It's my one big dumb vice that I blow lots of money on for specialized things.

Its okay Rafe, sometimes you just gotta splurge on shit. I own a DOSING PUMP for my fish tank that was $200 dollars. All it does is accurately squirt liquid into my tank every day so I don't have to do it myself.

joke answer: it boils water

more thorough answer: it's a stainless steel kettle with a gooseneck spout and boils water very quickly and I can program in very specific temperatures.

But it isn't boiled if its like at 80 degrees.

True. Technically I rarely boil water with it. I brew my black tea at 190F and green and white teas at 175F.
