also it kind of annoys me when people say DT is just copying ShB because the themes of regret, legacy, the memory of those who have been lost, and the burden of those still alive has existed since ARR

i mean shb is peak imo but i wish that the fandom would shut up about shb being peak because they cannot seem to get over the fact that it is part of a larger narrative with consistent themes instead of The Only Good Expac
