Picking which city to save sucked I'm just sayin'.

Also the choice that was most obvious for my Rook (Who was adopted by a Tevinter military family and a Shadow Dragon) was pretty obvious, but also. I uh, I don't think Spite is gonna forgive him

So while I have no clue who this boy would romance, I'm certain Lucanis is out now. XD

On another note? I adore Emmrich. He's just so dang adorable. The way he just... lit up when Rook made a joking comment about him only being welcome if Manfred was coming too

I like most of these companions, but like Emmrich is winning. Doesn't mean he's the one my Rook would pursue, just means he's amazing.

Also I have some really really kind thoughts about the Mercar family. Like, they adopted this random baby elf found on a battlefield, obviously they wouldn't just leave a baby. But like? They full on adopted this kid, and there's no way they didn't get judged for it. (Given that strangers always assumed he was a servant I mean, like...)

Also? Neve calling Manfred Fred from the get go, and being wary of Emmrich at first (while Emmrich was also wary of her) but having no qualms with Fred. That was so cute dangit.

Lots of companion cycling and ignoring fast travel to get the most companion dialogue (and the most loot) possible >.>

Taash to Emmrich: Rook gets my body if I die.
Rook: I what now?

Also I like that they pick up the dialogue where they left up if interrupted by a fight or opening a shop with a like "Now where were we?" "About what we were saying earlier" so you don't miss out on the line set

Harding being like "the Inquisitor believed he could be saved" Harding, Harrier was a puppy and believed literally everyone could be saved. I feel like the only reason he wasn't assassinated by people he thought he could befriend, was because he succeeded at befriending enough assassins that later ones mysteriously vanished before he even met them.

Rook... is not near as much of a puppy. I enjoy the conversations between him and Solas because he repeatedly tears Solas down a few pegs. Harrier was always respectful and fascinated by what Solas said, so he never woulda been able to stand his ground like Rook does.

"Someone decked the first warden and left me in charge" No idea who coulda done that >.>

"I have every confidence in your ability to aggravate enemies who should know better than to underestimate you." Aw, Solas, speaking from experience? XD

Emmrich is so good why is he so good. He's watching out for Lucanis and Spite both. I love him so much.

Also afsgshss
Emmrich (a necromancer): What's so objectionable about a simple reanimation?
Lucanis (an assassin): It's a waste of hard work.
I died.

The Gloom Howler strongly reminds me of The Architect. Like just the whole horribly twisted idea of helping thing. (I mentioned I'm missing my warden in all this, right? XD)

"Undead. Why are there undead here?" "Thousands have died in the deep roads" "That's not what I asked!"
