/chapter fights me tooth and nail for two weeks, if not three

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I was trying to avoid writing 'dying parent taken to hospital.'

It was necessary for the flow of the story, but. Pretty sure I was trying to avoid that, since things are coming much more easily now that I'm past that.
