Have about 15 minutes until I need to be outside. Well, more like 25, but train could be early.
Made the train. I'm the only person in 1st class. (It was only £20 more and I'm already fucked off enough about this trip.)
Just noticed my book is on 85% complete. Had to fight for a minute to get my Kindle to connect to something to get the next two books.
Do I have books on my Kindle I could have read instead? Yes. But I'm in the middle of a series.
About 10 minutes out from Chester. Then about 20 minutes to transfer for Liverpool. Plenty of time.
On the Liverpool train. With another coffee. I'll be buzzing by the time I get there.
Good luck! I hope it all goes well
Need a sit down and a coffee. So have found a Costa so I can settle down and report.
So. Got there half and hour before I needed to be there. No problem, they took us on in the order we arrived.
Had all my paperwork ready, all ready to explain the missing items...
Not needed.
There was a checklist on the last page of the application. Current passport. Visa document. Proof of address. Proof of right of residence. Marriage certificate because my name changes between passports. Then I needed to get my picture and fingerprints taken.
20 minutes after I got there? i was done. I had to retake my picture and redo a couple of fingerprints, but that was it.
ALL THAT FUCKING STRESS. ALL THAT FUCKING SEARCHING FOR PAPERWOFK.
Nope. About half a dozen items and some.
So I'm going for a wander around Liverpool One after all. Because spending 45 minutes in Liverpool seems a waste when I don't £55 on the ticket. (Would have been cheaper, but I splurged on 1st class. Figured I deserved it for having to be up at that time.)
James Street Station is literally just up the road, too. So I'm not far from where I need to go for the train.
I'm glad it wasn't a struggle to get it sorted in the end. And now it's dealt with for a while!
As long as things go well. It's a waiting game for a bit.
Fuck. The day is catching up with me, I think.
I'm still awake. But I don't know how long that's going to last.
