the shot with the guys throwing cans at superman looks like it's from a completely different movie

superman is even in a different version of the costume

Having that shot right next to Nathan Fillion in the Green Lantern outfit is some whiplash

My stance on this movie is that every time a comics superhero who isn't superman shows up I'm deducting four points from the movie's score

I don't care about green lantern and hawkgirl and fuckin whoever else they cram into this

I am begging movies to stop being cinematic universes

remember how in Thor 1, the entire glimpse of a wider world was someone seeing a space robot and going "Is this one of Stark's projects"

that was it

like three movies into the MCU

a superhero movie does not need to have eleven famous comic book characters in every scene for the audience to point at and clap

just make it about fucking superman

There is a marketing cynicism to it

So it doesn’t really surprise me that this ad is not just an ad for Superman but for other potential future films

Gotta get the most out of the millions of dollars of marketing

with further reflection I'm turning against this movie after all

superheroes are still bad

Eh I still love me some Superman, when he’s done well. Hopefully this is just a bad trailer. If not, well I still have more MAWS to look forward to
