i say "good guys" but it was one kid and one adult and i don't remember what they were doing exactly but they did learn that whoever told them the elevator wasn't working was a big fat liar, and the guy after them tried to shoot them before they could get to it so the whole encounter happened on the emergency stairs

vincent just kinda showed up like dude you're making me interrupt my own evil plans for this ugh

the stairs were particularly weird because the rest of the dream took place in what appeared to be an open air amusement park with no tall buildings?

there was a big family....or multiple families? friends with families? anyway they were all there and for some reason the children were getting put on a bus and some of them clearly didn't want to be on it but the parents were like "don't worry it'll be fine" but i had the ominous feeling it wasn't

i also ran into my bearded newest coworker who'd apparently been helping out around here and it turned out if you filled out details on this little form you could get paid and he was absolutely doing that

the only other thing i remember is a part where it was me and kodi the dog and a teenager and we found the entrance to what appeared to be a mine tunnel but it was also the enemy's hideout probably because the enemies were right behind us and i was like, quick, run!! and i jumped above the entrance to climb onto the dirt above the door

but the kid ran into the tunnel and died and the scene started over and this time the dog climbed up after me and the kid barely managed to get up after him
