Last night, I got up at about 4:30 a.m. to feed my girls Daisy and Lily. I checked on Lilo. She was sleeping soundly. It dipped down to 17 or 18 degrees F last night/this morning. Tonight, it will be a few degrees colder. Poor baby. If it gets any colder or it rains, I'll try bringing her in, against her will, but for her benefit.
My husband made a house for my wonderful feral cats and then put a heated pet pad in it. Weight of the cat triggers it to heat up. They use it nightly. Makes me rest easy. We have great mousers. I love them.
How great that hubby made a house. And I love that the heating pad heats when the cats lie on it! Yay!
4jTan: I like the idea of the weight enabled heating pad, would you be able to link that item? I have heated house cats on the deck, but she is still too scared to get into a confined space, even though there are two exits. Its going to take time i guess. I would appreciate that link though, and can you post the picture of the house your husband made?
