Lilo is back in her heated bed. Last night was nasty. It was super windy and raining all night long. Today we have sunshine, and she is back in bed with the heated pad. I will have to seriously consider bringing her inside before the snow hits because I just can't leave her outside. Especially since she comes to us for shelter.
I wish I could do it for all of them, but they seem to leave once they eat. Lilo on the other hand stays.
My husband made a suggestion the other day. If I bring her in, I may want to introduce her to the girls little by little. Believe I am all for that. But before I do that she would have to have a full health check, because I do not want the girls catching anything from her. God forbid she has anything. I pray she doesn't.
So that was an interesting suggestion he made, I did not see that coming, but at the same time, it made me happy.
I think Lilo would love to be inside, but it is going to take a lot of time for her, because she is used to be outside. I know someone had to have owned her at some point.
When I trapped her to be spayed, it turned out she already was spayed, thats when I found out she was a girl. Her ear wasn't tipped though, and it is normal to tip a cats ear that is outside, so others know it has been fixed. So that lead me to believe, she was indeed an inside cat at some point.
Unless the vet didn't do the tipping like they are supposed to.
Either way, she is coming into the basement for the winter, at the very least.
I have an opening for my girls to go down to the basement. I'll have to replace it, so that I can close it.
One with a lock, so I can open it when the time comes.
