the sensation of something not sitting quite right+dry skin making me itch

i just have to suffer through it til it grows out... might get into gammal's hairspray...

lol having a solid cap of hair at the back of my head...

apparently electric company scammers called my mom

she gave them her name and address before figuring out it was a scam

it had the electric company name on the caller id and she thought it might be something important

then they're telling her she owes $900 or they're going to shut off her power

"well, I don't have $900."
"yes you do!"
"no, i don't."
"yes you do!"
"no, i don't"
"we know you have $900!!"
"i have 542 in my checking account so NO. I DON'T."

then she said she should ask her brother
"is he there?"
"no he's in TN"
"well you need to pay this right now."
"well i guess i can ask my son, but he's upstairs and probably asleep..."

then she started asking them for details and got them to repeat themselves three times, with her claiming they were talking too fast and needed to start all over from the beginning, until the guy, clearly pissed off, shouted they were turning off her power and hung up on her

so she called her brother, who told her call the company directly and sort it out

she paid her bill first lol, then talked to the fraud dept. i told her i was proud of her for not just redialing the last caller and looking up the number herself

"well i didn't want to get that guy again, i was mad at him"

then she's telling me it's gonna get down to 7F (but looking now i think she meant 17) tonight and how she should put in a food delivery order for tomorrow morning

i shamed her into waiting til it was a little warmer so she wouldn't be contributing to making someone get sick /..
