I haven't been doing the best since my disability denial, not unexpected, and i have a preexisting fear of the phone. By happenstance my therapy got switch to phone for this week, and i was so anxious/trying not to cry as I waited.
I'm on the phone with her for less than a minute and she's like, kay, you don't sound good, and I know phone is not good for you, I don't think it's a good idea to push through and force therapy when you're dysregulated.
So we rescheduled for in person, and I feel a bit better knowing that there are some areas where pushing through isn't the brave or strong thing.
oof, I'm so glad your therapist recognized what you needed and made sure you were taken care of, so sorry you're dealing with this though.
I'm so glad they are going to do right by you.
glad they could be at least that accommodating. look after yourself
