The idea is that there was a comic relief character 10 years ago, who was a strong and eager young guard who got into mishaps around the Heroine.

Now he's a Strong and rather senior guard, but still gets into all these comic relief episodes because he's rather thick.

a bit like Fezzik from the Princess Bride, just an absolutely huge lad.

Easy to trick, all and any gambits work on him

it's a bit thin so I'm certainly gonna make him the sort of guy who will glorm onto any hero going and praise their skill and heroism
