Look at how comfortable Lilo is sleeping on the deck. It's going to rain at 3 pm, according to Alexa. It breaks my heart when I have to bring in her bed due to rain or snow. I almost feel like she thinks I'm punishing her, and I'm not. I just want her bed to stay dry. 
about 2 days ago, we got snow at about midnight, and I wanted to put her in a carrier and bring her to the basement, but she resisted. That is my goal, to get her into the basement for winter without setting a trap.
I don't want her to fear me.
