I hate proportions
why do bodies have to have specific sizes relative to other parts of the body

A) are you asking about placement of muscles specifically or technique of drawing
B) make the fingers chubbier than human fingers tend to be

D) it looks like human flesh with bones in it

A) both. both are stupid. question was mostly rhetorical but advice actually would be appreciated
B) but the PLACEMENT they look so silly XP but I think all the bones are in the right place so it’s okay

A) for references I often use Grecian statues, they usually have all the muscles in the right place. In terms of actually drawing them however, I imagine they're like little currents sort of? that run over the frame of the bones and they build up and then flow down on the spots they connect. Learning about where they connect to bones n how they work may help

B) yes they do look weird I'd just use four fingers or just a solid mitt with a thumb usually
