lol, wellll there was a protest blocking the route (tbh I’m in support - it was protesting the army protecting corporate/railroad interests by killing local large animals including jaguars [which are historically sacred to the Maya as well as just being important to the biome], so they were in front of Jaguar National Park)

...so no ruins, but —

— then I got a migraine anyway so, it’s been hide in the dark day and we’ll see if we can go tomorrow since it was afaik one day of demonstrations. It’s probably good to rest up, instead of pushing it with a headache. We’ll get some dinner, I can write a bit tonight and start fresh instead.
