this kid is SO DESPERATE for someone to see and care about her

Jiang Ruoyao telling her mother that actually, she doesn't WANT any advantages gained by stomping on other people!

and it was so hard for her to reach that place but she did it! she managed to trust her sister enough to get there!

and when she's no longer making choices out of fear and shame and resentment she makes GOOD CHOICES! she's such a smart kid!
