I find every year in in a kind of funk around these times. I don't know if it's holiday blues, SAD, or something, but yeah, been kinda slow lately.
So let's plot things and hopefully I'll get my groove in.
John might start packing meals for a certain monk if he mentions he has trouble finding veggie selections
yarnzipan: he doesn't have
trouble, but he never minds having
more selections.
But now that Nana is gone, that's one less person for him to bug in the kitchens.
I know Steve is definitely thinking about his veggie meals <3
and I look forward to more Chase stuff. I will get to my tags hopefully tonight...
cacopheny: Yes, and Steve invited Wu Xin to B's kitchen to teach him how to make bread.
cacopheny: so might be crashing B's place later too
antipositional If you want to do a thread with that later? (I had to check 3 times to make sure I'm pinging the right captain. Lol.)
Also,
narrowmybed, do you think we want to handwave Wu Xin bugs Sebastian for vegetarian meals.... or assume he senses something about the demon and just avoids him?
lol alllll the captains XD and yes! I would love to do that
antipositional: yeah, I used to play Loki, so I had a whole bunch of them saved in my friends list.
Wu Xin would really enjoy making bread.
Which means after that, he'd want access to ingredients. And a place to make it.
WN will continue to be a little snotty to this most pesky of his surrogate little brothers
And as long as he continues to make him wonderful Chinese meals.
We can thread out Wu Xin and Sebastian or handwave, whichever you like! As an ooc note: the kitchens already offer a vegetarian option for every meal, and if Wu Xin approaches Sebastian with specific requests Sebastian will shut him down hard unless he makes a very compelling case.
narrowmybed: Yeah, which might be why he'll avoid Sebastian after because he can't mind get him to do more. Lol. He might try to go the religious angle, or try to praise Sebastian into making him things.
ooh, breadmaking. That could be a new hobby in the Bright-Graham household.... >_>
Get him ingredients and he might make it a temporary hobby
After he learns...maybe for the new year.
Of which, someone teach him about the holidays! Christmas!
Yeah, definitely! Will's gotta give him full context, too (a lot of holidays happen this time of year, here's the specifics on these traditions, etc)
And yeah, if Wu Xin mentions wanting to learn that, Will's probably gonna go whole-hog on collecting stuff for it. He'd like to learn that one, too!
Tendi's definitely checking up on Wu Xin
Wu Xin deserves some indulging!
He might start calling her princess for jokes.
Psssh don't be silly, she's not a princess
siderealtime: he got so lucky with Will. He's a very indulging type of guy
She's just an heir to a powerful House and her mom's title is Warrior Queen and she's been raised to fulfill certain duties and roles since birth and people kneel and/or grovel when they see her and-
omnomivore: "Do definitions of princess differ between worlds?"
shhhh let Tendi keep thinking she's not a pirate princess.
Hakkai's first instinct while high: VIOLENCE
Gojyo's first instinct when sober: PROPERTY DESTRUCTION
they're absolute delinquents
when he sobers up Hakkai switches from active violence to threats
I would say they switched the impulse controll ball between them, but really, it's more that Hakkai's natural instinct is violence, and Gojyo's isn't.
narrowmybed: He's just got his violence under wraps behind a smile again. Or a better one.
it's very important to Hakkai that he maintains self control! it also reduces bloodshed
He's getting revenge for all the times that he didn't know about where these two thought Sanzo will have him for breakfast.
Hakkai is genuinely upset about the pictures of him cuddling with Gojyo, since he still doesn't know the status of their friendship now that they're both sobered up and he's very sensitive about it! Deleting the pictures would get him to back off -- would that ruin any future threads?
tinwateringcan: nope, Wu Xin can do. He's a brat, but he's not truly evil. After a while he'll relent.
Ah good, that's probably the easiest way to end it without hard feelings!
Like if he sees Hakkai is actually upset, he'll stop.
Hakkai tends to hide that, but he's off his game enough he might show a bit of genuine feeling here.
Yeah, that's the problem that Hakkai has such good emotional control.
(tag on the chase thread!)
