I hecked up and woke up late for putting the turkey together and in the oven. HOWEVER, even late and taking the partially thawed turkey out last night, it was still frozen inside
My raynaud's is so unhappy, y'all lmao
The turkey just barely fit in the roasting pan, partially because I tried adding a vegetable bed underneath it. I also tried stuffing the turkey, too. Mushrooms, baby carrots, stuffing (the kind with savory herbs in it)
I have corn and biscuits on the sidelines
All for me, and for the dog to look towards in jealousy
I did use some disposable gloves to protect my hands, for that and for rubbing crisco all over it
yeah it's surprising how much good even disposable gloves do in fending off the FROSTBITE
Not having the freezing wet to dry off the skin does so much for speeding up the warming process
It is a bit lonely, but I wouldn't be able to handle the drives or how loud it gets where everyone else is meeting up. Plus, this guarantees I don't have to worry about allergies
The headache from sound is a big thing, as I think I slept so late after putting on my blindfold is from a more intense headache that was hitting last night
I should haul you out here for Thanksgiving sometime. have to figure out where to put you if Eli also comes, but we'd figure it out
shoosh-paps your skull! hushush!
It's the pressure changes going back and forth. The skull's angee
I ALMOST FORGOT TO WORK ON THE FIGHT BOX
The fight box: Something for Bry to put his MtG stuff in, without it falling to the floor and stuff
Plastidipped the bottom, did a black coat along the sides and a stone coating over that. It's currently drying before I work on the inside for a nice base
The box is technically cardboard, so all the edges will look rough until I hotglue the edges with metallic-looking glue
The inside, after the base, will be a felt lining. I'm just covering gaps first
But uh... Biscuits baked while the turkey's resting
