dnd healing is Not Consistent when it comes to scars, so i'm just like - it depends on the healer, the injury, the type of magic, how quickly it's done, etc etc

best case, zerxus's magic won't prevent a scar from a serious wound but it will heal cleanly, and won't be super obvious/obstructive

so gnarlier scars he has tend to be super old ones from when he was a kid/teen pre-paladin levels. the shit you get from falling out a tree or chopping you finger instead of a vegetable

The rest tend to be faded, more smooth than not - And Then There Are The Death Scars

he got stabbed through the heart twice in one day, they both left different scars. it wasn't actually specified HOW asmodeus stabbed him and i've seen. so many different awesome/horrific takes

but my favourite is manifesting a sword of fire so i go with that. and overlaid on top is the scar from nydas's scimitar.

He's also got a scar running down his back from getting his spine broken (second death), and a fainter one on his neck (third death). Oh, and it was Asmodeus who healed the wound he got from his shield shattered into his side, so - that's both very visible and can be painful

Future State!Steph presumably has scarring around her missing eye, but we don't know how that happened so no idea what kind
