So I check it out, and like yes it has a lot of good things about it and I can see why it gets the hype and I am desperate to keep my mind off reality so I watched the 8 episodes

But like, in the first episode the teenage deuteragonist is abducted by aliens that tear her clothes off and strap her down to forcibly impregnate her, and it is portrayed in a way that is very horny and also meant to be funny

And like, why

And every time I complain about anime and manga being like this on wider social media, it’s almost guaranteed that I’ll get some weeb coming in to tell me how I am imposing my western cultural values on Japan
