YEAH..... I do find it weird they jumped from Knuckles to Shadow with no Amy in between

Rouge is one thing (I'd love to see her too!!) but Amy's been there since the beginning too sobs

people are saying maybe Amy for Sonic 4 but idk 🤷‍♀️

yeah, like I know she wasn't playable in SA2 and her role as the emotional core has already been supplanted by the humans

but did you have to skip over the games where she was important??

I do kind of like that fan theory that the human GUN agent who seems to be replacing Rouge is actually Rouge with a high-tech holo projector but it feels like cope.

Though that trailer shot with the villains did have a conspicuously empty spot for her to be added in...

My other theory is that the female animals are being excluded because they wear clothes, since maybe the film producers think that it would make it uncomfortable that the boys don't? But I have no idea.

I doubt it

it's much more likely they're just trying to hit really popular characters that'll sell theater seats and doubt the ability of female characters to do that

for everything they could be doing, I mean

outside of movies they could give us amy and rouge and yet they gave us wade whipple

i can understand them being Weird about rouge but fr where is amy

idk that sonic 3 would've been the movie for her based on what we've seen in the trailers so far but that doesn't mean sonic 2 couldn't have been. oh well.

I know they want to adapt SA2 because of its and Shadow's popularity but like. But like.

It's so easy to just be not weird about Rouge too. Put her in one of her Prime designs.

I don't hate the human cast. I like them. Rachel had problems in the first movie but the second fixed her by making her less of a gross stereotype and instead a character with interiority and reasons for how she feels and acts.

But the humans' role as the emotional grounders of the team seem to have replaced Amy, and they've also replaced Rouge with a human in the new one for some reason.
