I have a whole week off to rest and avoid burnout and I was feeling relieved but now of course the guilt is settling in a little.

School has already arranged a substitute tho and I know he's good so my classes will be in good hands.
The fact you feel guilty is proof that you need the break. You're too wired into work which makes it hard to let go. It's commendable to want to do best by your students but it's also really good that you're trying to do beat by you!
and honestly, that's a good precedent to set for your students too. That it is okay to take a step back once in a while.
I hope you have a good break!
I think the guilt is just the good ol' uhhh
I excelled in school so I expect myself to always excel in everything I do.
I forget what the phenomenon is generally called around the internet.
No like. Golden child but not that exact term. Just something like it.
i'm glad you get a little break, i hope you can bring yourself to enjoy it
