This wouldn't normally be an issue, but I've been missing another friend's broadcasts and I know asking for a restream is taxing and inconvenient to them, especially when I'm the only one needing the restreams.
I normally wouldn't ask for them, but a number of shows are serial so it's like 'oh, I don't want to miss what happens'. Bleh. First world problems
I know a lot of people get busy this time of year too, so I'm trying to figure out if there's some kind of file-hosting solution I could use for this that will let me just upload the videos so people can not fall behind
Metafive: Luckily I have access to most of the shows if need be. It's just the more obscure ones that are like "Oh... uh.... pray that it's on youtube maybe?"
Oh yeah. Don't get me started on how hard it was even getting the torrent up for Roswell Conspiracies, I think there's one guy in, like... Hungary who had 100% of the files.
Still, makes me realize a more scaleable solution is called for here, especially once work starts again and my days become a lot more densely-packed...
I'll be honest: that YT channel is my source for what we've been watching. There's one other fansub out there with whole episodes in higher quality but the subs are teeeerrible. Like, they can't even get the characters' names consistent line to line.
Like I said, it's an obscure one... but nonetheless I'd like to try and get some sort of file hosting thing set up to allow people access to the files if they miss a stream
Metafive: lol. I was gonna ask if what we've been watching was a amalgamation of those videos lol cause I'll occasionally see little jumps to moments a few seconds before and thought maybe a video player issue happened, but that would explain things.
