well i didn't make it off the ship yet but it's interesting so far

i am doing the story mode? thing? for now, i'll go back and do balanced eventually

and i am playing as a gnome because why not

i keep failing rolls, it's so funny

i did get to headbutt Astorian on the face, which was very satisfying

i was going to be a jerk this run but I can't quite bring myself to go full awful so i am trying for more of a jerk with a heart of gold lol

it is also so funny when i do something and my party members have Opinions about it

am also doing story mode bc that's what I'm here for. the souls community can keep their difficulty.

i may poke at them eventually if i need those for achievements but for now this is challenging enough lmao

i also broke the game last night, Tav took a shortcut over a random cart to get to where i'd told the party to go, and the rest of them apparently didn't know how to cope with that

so hopefully saving and restarting will fix that

also Tav started sinking into the ground

which doesn't seem optimal

i really really do not vibe playing as a gnome actually, at least partly because i don't want to deal with party members being sexy at me lol

so restarting as a Drow

i don't think i can bring myself to ever harm the brain-thing

my hair is so distractingly flowy lmao

it amuses me how they have various 'types' of players

several of them are silent and mysterious, only dropping hints here and there...
