I'm not sure if it's a getting used to thing but BLM feels weaker now

BLM suffered really hard from the "damage now registers with animation" change

It feels like it's easier for people to walk out of range of your spells

Burst is trash now

If your target isn't under some sort of CC it's going to miss

Aetherial Manip -> Burst was one of BLM's best kill moves and because of the change it's really easy to walk out of burst range after the BLM zoops to you

Soul Resonance lost the instacast quality which was the main reason it was so good

It just changes your fire spells to Flare and ice spells to Freeze now, but both now have cast times

The BLM debuffs also got moved to Soul Resonance and you can only inflict it once, which is a huge downgrade from Superflare

Since you can't reliably spread and maintain fire DoTs now, Deep Freeze is better IMO

It takes some planning to do because you have to be in Ice to use it, the reward is pretty good

There's so much CC in Frontlines now that you don't have to worry as much about people cleansing out of it as much and you can hit a ton of people with it more easily

Xenoglossy is a welcome addition at least, it's really good for snagging that last hit for KOs, kind of like what Fire Superflare can but better

Most of my KOs now are picking off weakened targets with Xenoglossy

Lethargy I think is an upgrade from Nightwing because even though it's single target and heavy, the effect is instantaneous and the damage reduction can't be cleansed

the biggest problem with BLM is people walking out of range and it's your only reliable way of landing Burst without help from teammates

The AoE effect of NIghtwing will be missed, but Lethargy serves a similar purpose in trying to force people to burn their cleanse

I need more practice with it, mainly with utilizing Frost Star more

Overall I prefer pre change BLM better, but this one is still fine, I just need to change how I try to snag KOs

I haven't gone into CC with anything yet, but only because I'm focusing on reaching 5k kills

in Frontline

If I were to make one change to current PvP BLM, I would revert LB back to its previous version

I don't think it was too strong and its current version just doesn't feel like a limit break at all

I just want my instacast Flares back man
