I think a lot of AI conversations are shifting because like...

A lot of early conversations did involve "Well, AI still sucks, it can't do X or Y or Z and that's why you need people to do it"

but it IS getting better. which is for the worse

because you lose out on being able to say "well it looks bad, it can't do this or that"

but it's still fucking evil

yeah no amount of improvement will make AI less evil or soulless
