Every now and then, I like to print photos. Sooo, I bought myself a stand alone printer. Just tried it, and although a little confusing at first, the results are great.

SStephenC201: Yes, sadly, 4" x 6". There are other models but I think only smaller sized paper.
stevebob: I was surprised at the quality. The rose was taken recently with my iPhone but the other was many years ago (late 1980s?) probably with a small digital camera.
2xstitcher: Kind of fun to learn something new.
Indikon: The printing process is really weird. The paper first rolls out with all yellow, then the paper reverses in and out three more times adding additional colors.

Looks like a good printer for pics. Lately I’ve started having my pics printed at Walgreens. I can get the size I want printed. I frequently get the pics printed on canvas. I don’t normally print hardly any pics these days. Most of the time that I do print, I’m just printing text.

The photos look great. Printing by CYMK standards demands four prints - one for each color.
oh thanks sharing and looks lovely ....i do print in a shop or by printer at home but that doesn't give good quality..stripes ..and thx sahring technicalinfo ..

Beautiful photos mimi. When I was teaching graphic arts we had to run the paper through the printing press 4 times to get the color images. Black and white were only one run. I’m surprised that your printer would do that. Have fun with it.

we had screen capture printers in NOLA that used a film color roll and made 3 passes: one for each color on the film roll
