okay so let me give some context.

I have been daydreaming a lot about getting, like, just enough camping gear for the occasional overnight roughing it, so I could go on small trips and be Alone and not have to worry about getting back home in time to sleep

in my daydreams, this also included getting some kind of e-bike so I could, y'know, get out of the city and to nice birding spots

honestly the e-bike has been its own fantasy. and I'm planning to save my next few paychecks, see where I'm at after holiday bonus, and see about getting a loan from my credit union to buy one.

so, looking at this stuff, it abruptly hit me that my backpack camping fantasy is suddenly feasible.

and that tent is pretty much exactly the amount of tent I want. and it's pretty much in line with the price of similar tents I've windowshopped before.
