ahaha someone called out the district AD assistant for using caps for emphasis
latest #29
I've wanted to for a long time but I let it slide because she's like pushing 70 and internet manners seems to be beyond her.
It felt like when older folks use "..." instead of a period, which millennial and younger generally read as being passive aggressive/sarcastic
But one of the coaches (whom the AD assist keeps fucking up the paperwork for and then sending emails with caps saying she is NOT CLEARED and needs to return XYZ forms ASAP or she CANNOT COACH etc)
立即下載
(event though those forms are in...)
That coach finally sent an email saying "Consider refraining from using capital letters in your emails, it's very aggressive and does not get the message across any clearer than sending words in a grammatically correct manner--lowercase form"
Omg lol
very polite, but I've met this coach and I know she really wanted to be like "LISTEN HERE BITCH"
Like I understand wanting to make sure folks read the thing, but it's... its 2024. All email has the ability to italicize, bold, and underline. Even change the color of the text. Do one of those instead of the digital equivalent of yelling???
Tbh I should have tried to approach her about this but it's also not my job!!!

Love to see it.
I love this.
I'm reminded of the office manager from my first official Big Girl job. Linda had a nasty habit of hitting 'Reply All' whenever we'd get emails from corporate about new people in the company. "Congratulations!! =D Welcome aboard! You're going to be great!". It got so bad that the VP of the company called our boss. This is not a small company.
jfc. I get trying to be nice, but that just seems performative. In my experience people forget to reply all constantly when they should, so doing it on purpose seems intentional.
VP told Bossman to tell her to hit 'reply' or don't respond at all. This was also the same woman who was afraid that I was going to steal her job, so she never showed me a lot of things, which was helpful when she walked out later on. So.
She was a piece of work.
performative and insecure, an awesome combo
Absolutely. She once went over bossman's head to write me up for not following her directions? aka She did something incorrectly, I caught it, I fixed it before I sent it off, and she was mad she missed it/I fixed it. Jim was so pissed because it went straight to corporate, he never saw it until after she pushed it through.
It wasn't long after that she walked, so I had to learn her job anyway. Amazing how helpful people in other regions were.
Also lmao my site AD came in briefly to be like "That was so funny!!" to me
lol okay, that's just great

Someone definitely needed to say something. Hopefully it sticks.

Let us hope she fucking retires soon, then.
Everyone is hoping lol
I'm just doing my best to be super organized so that when she loses stuff I can just attach it again or send the original email again if I'm feeling super petty

Valid and she deserves that petty energy.
