The top post is "You never feel like a grown up. You mostly just fake it and assume everyone else are actual adults. My data is only valid from ages 0-46 years of age."
and as a 42 year old, I 100% agree with it
"Your brain is constantly rewiring itself, so even if you're stuck in a bad habit or mindset, you can always change it with enough effort, no matter how old you are."
I can confirm this is true, I used to have trouble brushing my teeth at night up to and until 35 years old (in part due to ADHD probably) and after forcing myself for weeks with post-it notes and doing it right after eating, now I feel weird not doing it
A cats purr released oxytocin and has a naturally calming effect
(I miss my cato)
Your dog dreams about you<3
If Mr. Rogers met you there's a strong chance he'd be very proud of how far you've come.
This one legit made me cry because it's 100% true
In Canada and the US the rates have been declining since about 1995. There's half as much crime as there was 30 years ago. You have to go back to about 1960 to find rates so low. It's kind of amazing.
(Amazing what removing lead did to help)
*Regarding Microplastics: this is not the first time this has happened.
The reason we have coal deep below the ground today is because for millions of years nothing existed to decompose trees. *
They just built up and up and up in ever deeper layers. Eventually something evolved to fill that niche, and today we have termites and fungus and wood eating bacteria, dozens of ways trees can be broken down by the natural world.
Dogs think we’re cute as well, like we see them 😂 and cats think we’re weird cats.
heart attacks seldom come out of the blue and strike without prior notice. There are almost always tellable signs in advance, listen to your body and get checked out in doubt.
If you are female, there are different signs too! Google 'female heart attack signs' also interestingly enough, CHAT GTP can help you sometimes if only to give you a general idea
I'm not even kidding, stories recently have come out where people entered their symptoms into chat GTP as a 'lol' joke and found out they might be getting close to a heart attack, going and lo and behold they were a day or two of having one
Centralia, PA — the site of the long-burning underground fire — has been reclaimed by nature. I was there several years ago as a last-minute decision on the way to somewhere else, and was interested to see the Silent-Hill-style landscape and the big stretches of graffiti. It’s not there anymore. It’s big beautiful plants and trees.
I feel like you'd get the same results from webmd. ChatGPT used in this manner is basically a questionably reliable search engine.
But thank you for this post
Nerdorama: oh def but what happened in a particular case is chat gtp kept asking him for more symptoms he happened yo have and didn't think about before saying he had a possibility of a heart attack and to get it checked
So in that case it was more "oh yeah I had been sweating earlier today and forgot about that" that searching on webmd might not have given him
Less search engine and more troubleshooting chat bot in that case
