My dad was hospitalized on monday because of something Fournier's Gangrene and is gonna be in the hospital for a couple weeks for multiple surgeries

I live about an hour away so my wife and I are gonna drive down and see him tomorrow(today) afternoon

My laptop makes terrible noises so I'm not gonna be bringing it but I WILL be bringing my tablet with my wireless keyboard....

that said I will probably only be focusing on one or two tags if I do

For now I need to sleep and get ready for tomorrow so....I will update people after I've seen him

thanks, it's a big scare for me. my dad is basically the only family I have left who's known me since I was very little and he's been the one constant in my life and he's had a life threatening thing happen once before.

add to that growing up knowing he was HIV positive, I've never once seen my dad as a "fragile" person so I think seeing him tomorrow is gonna hit me harder than I'm willing to admit

he signed as my witness for my wedding back in July

got to talk to dad this morning and he sounded good, just tired

I have had MAYBE3 hours of sleep and we are set to leave in about 2ish hours

I was panicking bad last night and kept waking up in fear of getting bad news in the morning

Ever since I lost my grandma and dad called me to tell me it's a fear I've had

Oh my god, thinking of you and your fam, I hope he comes out of this okay and you get many more years with him!

dad has his buddy
