I've never been on twitter, so its been amusing to watch Musk unintentionally wreck the place.
But this looks like a deliberate effort to make it the new 4chan.

It will be interesting to see how many media companies jump ship after the 15th.
There has been a progressively (pun intended) larger bleed from the site for some time. Bluesky just passed 14 million users, and I know folks are moving to threads and mastadon.
