So it turns out Bliss did not have a UTI. She's actually having an issue with one of her back legs that's causing her pain.

She never had another accident so we were wondering why she was acting weird. Then we noticed she was struggling to jump
she would only use one leg and it wasn't enough to get her up
she likely slipped a disk or maybe is having a hip problem
Her vet closed down so we've made an appointment for a checkup with a new vet
she's still eating very well and has continued to use her litter box perfectly since the one accident so we're thinking she's just old and is finally having some mobility problems
but now since she can't jump she's learning how to communicate to us that she wants up somewhere
and it's kind of adorable lol
I know there are some injections cats can get when they get mobility problems. Perhaps that'll be a solution
yeah I figure there's some kind of solution to at least make her more comfortable
even if she's just going to have some difficulty jumping, her QOL is still great, so it's like... grandma just needs a little extra help lol
Cat stairs! Get her some stairs or a ramp for places she regularly likes to go
YEP lol dad is already building her some
for the living room couch
That’s adorable, got dad right on the case
dad's favorite thing to do is spontaneous build furniture whenever he has the slightest excuse, so
aww... my old lady cat was helped a lot by cosequin... we got a powder version we added to wet food each night
Awwwww old lady getting her own stairs is cute
