continually in awe of how they manage the tone
I love how they're developing Shoma and Hanto's relationship through their fights as Gavv and Valen, and their continued mutual ignorance of each other's real identities
the way they actually like. kept getting in their own way this episode because they both HAD to go investigate any lead on the kidnappings, and neither one was willing to let a "civilian" go alone
and they actually do work really effectively with each other, even when they're hampered by having to hide important information from each other
though it DOES look like at least one side of that is going to come down next week - if I'm interpreting that preview right, it looks like Hanto's going to get knocked out of his suit in front of Shoma
I can't wait for Sachika to inevitably get her rider shit, I don't want her to have as bad a time as Hanto did but I cannot fucking wait to see the whole trio in action
the ways in which these three characters relate to each other are my favorite fucking thing about this show
it was so cute when Valen asked Gavv if he could have more gochizos
and shoma was just internally like "ohhhh right, he's a granute who can't make minions, like I was! it must have been so hard for him"
and gives him a whole new batch of chocodons
the chocodons have father's blessing, they will now gladly die for Valen
and then of course aside from all that there's the end-of-episode reveal about Suga. which is not terribly surprising but I am very interested in it.
