Like seriously, seeing a specialist takes so long that you're really in trouble if you actually need to see them still by the time you get an appointtment.

As someone who's had to deal with a lot in the last year. It sucks. I hope your doc can at least give you a better starting point

floofdoodle: nope. I've got literally the most useless doc ever. She doesn't doctor. At all. She only triages you to specialists.

Like I go in, not for this. But another instance. I ask, "Is this a fungal infection?" and she will go, "Okay, I can prescribe you a final cream. And refer you to a dermatologist."

Yeah, if it's not impossible to get a doctor here, I'd have switched out long long ago.

I could go into a doc appointment and come out with 3 specialist referrals for various minor things that she didn't even bother to do a test for or give suggestions for. And then the specialist will go "why the heck did you get referred???"

oof, that sucks

ugh, that's the worst. Sorry to hear that's how she 'handles' her job.
